- 01https://static.wixstatic.com/media/undefined If you passed your standard car B driving test after 1st January 1997 you are required by law to take a further test to tow trailers or caravans. Check the back of your license to see which categories you can drive.
- 02All people who want to tow trailers or caravans above the B licence limit. i.e. Council and utilities personnel, caravan owners, horse-box owners, boat owners.
- 03It depends how much experience you already have with towing. We can carry out an initial assessment and advise you how long we think it will take to pass the examination. The cost of this is £45 but will be taken off the price of the course if you choose to book with us.
- 04The test will last around 60 mins and will involve: • A simple sight test • A reversing exercise • Un-hitch and hitch exercise • Driving in varying traffic conditions • Uphill, downhill and angled starts • Questions about the safety and loading of the outfit.
- 05The DVSA Test Fee is £115, plus the cost of the training.
